Impact

We create incredible immersive experiences through music and visual arts concentrating on artists, communities and collectives who live in suburban areas. Our mission is to use creativity to foster inclusive debate and dialogue concerning questions of identity, societal differences, and inequality.

Analysis of Grants for the arts funding shows that applicants residing in rural areas made 13 percent of individual grants and only 14 percent of organisational Grants for the arts.

Statistics show that 98% of all funding in rural and suburban areas tends to be awarded to white middle class individuals. It is clear that sub-urban areas lack diversity within their creative projects and programmes.

It is our intention to impact these specific areas and support communities from marginalised backgrounds who need to express their marginalised stories. We want to change the landscape and culture in these areas.
